Wherever you are in the world, we can connect on Zoom, Google Meet or Skype. We can share our screens, share notes, and use technology to maximize your time to improve your English in the most efficient way possible.
If you are in NYC, in person lessons can be arranged- at your place (home or office) or at my place on the Upper West Side. Ask about special packages for kids and homework help.
Have special English needs? I’m here and ready to edit or proofread your presentation, paper, article, or business materials. I can also help with web design, designing menus or promotional materials. Also available for resume/Linkedin help and ghostwriting
Tracy is a long time New Yorker with over 17 years of experience in ESL Education.
Tracy’s educational journey began at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she earned her bachelor's degree in sociology, laying the foundation for understanding the complexities of human interaction.
Building upon this foundation, she pursued a TEFL certification at One World Training, honing skills in language instruction and pedagogy.
Driven by a desire to explore new horizons and immerse herself in diverse cultures, Tracy embarked on a transformative journey to Brazil. For six enriching years, she shared her knowledge and love for language as an ESL teacher, leaving an indelible impact on students in both Brazil and Argentina.
In 2013, Tracy brought her global experiences back to New York City, where she joined the esteemed team at Be Fluent NYC. Here, she had the privilege of working closely with Japanese expats, guiding them towards fluency in English, supporting their business needs, and facilitating their integration into the vibrant fabric of the city.
As a learner of Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese and French, and a long time teacher of English as a second language, her language acquisition methodology has its foundations in fun, experimentation and curiosity and a real-world practical approach.
